By “confined spaces” we mean those confined spaces, characterized by limited access openings and unfavorable natural ventilation.
Environments where an important accident can occur, which can lead to a serious injury or death, in the presence of dangerous chemical agents (for example, gases, vapors, dusts).
Some confined spaces are easily identifiable as such, as the limitations linked to access openings and ventilation are very evident and / or the presence of dangerous chemical agents is known. (e.g. storage tanks, silos, reaction vessels, sewers, septic tanks, etc.)
All these confined spaces provide for safety measures for possible first aid through lifters, clothing, masks and so on.
The equipment in our catalog are made up of various models of Recovery cranes and tripods that are created to allow you to work safely during the descent and parking phases within confined spaces.
The use of the movable tripods can be configured in places with vertical access preferably positioned on a flat walking surface such as for example road manholes, underground silos.

The installation of fall protection nets is mandatory by law, and allows operators to enjoy maximum freedom of action, without being constrained in their movements. In the event that a person falls from above, the impact is cushioned by virtue of the considerable deformability of the device, so that the onset of injuries is avoided or, in any case, minimized. Usually, fall protection nets are made with a particular material, multifilament polypropylene, which is water-repellent and knotted with high tenacity. FALL PROTECTION NET RENTAL TYPE S
G.F. Safety offers a hot or cold rental service on fall protection nets. Cold freight when only the material is supplied while hot freight is a contract between two parties, which provides not only for the rental of equipment, but also for personnel suitable for its use and assembly / disassembly of the same.
Anchor points are elements to which a PPE can be applied directly.
All anchors used with the specific purpose of protecting against the risk of falling from above must comply with the UNI-EN 795: 2012 type A standard.
Our range of anchor points differs according to the types of application:

the sheet metal lifeline is a system that can be installed on metal roofs with corrugation. Thanks to special fixings, with rivets and gaskets, it is applied directly on the sheet without the need for further restoration and waterproofing work.
Two sizes of 32.5 cm and 52.5 cm plates are available that allow them to adapt to any spacing of the ribs.
Life line on non-deformable poles is a fall arrest device designed for fixing to beams or floors in reinforced concrete, iron and wood.
While the non-deformable poles of this line can be made entirely of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel, the lifeline cable, as well as its accessories are made only of stainless steel, offering all the elements high mechanical resistance and resistance to corrosion.

Our parapets constitute a collective protection system, and also all comply with the EN ISO 14122-3: 2003 standard with the possibility of being installed to service roofs with a maximum slope of 10 °.
The entire range is made of die-cast aluminum alloy and the components are assembled using stainless steel screws.
Within the range, different types of products are available:
- Self-supporting . This parapet allows you to position the implants without the need to drill the roof, avoiding infiltration problems. The self-supporting is available with straight uprights and consists of uprights and crosspieces in aluminum fixed to special bases connected to blocks and the typical composition is upright + horizontal arm + concrete block every 150 cm, handrail at the top at height from the walking surface equal to 110 cm, crosswise so that the distance between it and the handrail does not exceed 50 cm.
- Flat, side and undercover fixing. The system consists of aluminum extrusions and stainless steel for the bases. The connecting elements allow, in addition to the junction between vertical and horizontal elements, the overcoming of differences in height and horizontal changes of direction. The uprights are arranged every 150cm, while the space between the horizontal profiles must not exceed 50cm. For this reason it is essential to know the conformation of the structure on which the parapet will be mounted ..
- Fixing to metal roofing membranes . They are Specific parapets where the supports are fixed in parallel or perpendicular to the waves of the roof in steel through self-tapping screws, tightness is guaranteed by a specific sealing tape.

For personal protective equipment, PPE, we refer to all those equipment or instruments intended to be worn or in any case carried by the worker in order to protect him from the risks that the tasks carried out by his activity entail, a concept very well expressed by the legislation. on safety at work, Legislative Decree 81/08, which in art. 74 paragraph 1, states: any equipment intended to be worn and kept by the worker in order to protect him against one or more risks likely to threaten his safety or health during work, as well as any complement or accessory intended for this purpose.

Temporary belt lifelines complete with transport bag, ratchet and 2 snap hooks for fixing are also considered PPE. Approved for 1 to 3 operators, ideal for working safely on roofs where no type of fall protection system is installed.
The safety rail is a versatile fall arrest device that uses different trolleys or baskets, to be part of a restraint or fall arrest system, or as a support for suspended work on double rope.
The safety rail has an extruded aluminum alloy profile that guarantees the product lightness, resistance to corrosion and atmospheric agents and a mechanical resistance suitable for the various possible uses.
The track is installed by fixing ceiling or wall supports to the structure and, for use as a fall arrest device, the operator must connect with his PPE to the high sliding trolley.
In the case of use for suspended work, the fixing brackets are to be positioned every 6.00 m and the track is approved for use by 3 operators, while for use with baskets, the distance between the supports is reduces to 3m.
The anchoring device considers different technical standards, depending on the possible uses. EN 795: 2012 Type D,
As a device against falls from a height suitable for suspended work; EN 1808 “Suspended platforms at variable levels” for use with baskets.
It also meets the Atex criteria for use in explosive environments, as per TUV certification in compliance with directive 94/9 / EC and with standards EN 13463- 5: 2007, EN 13463-1: 2009 class II cat.2. span>
It can also be used in zone 1 for dust-based and gas-based explosive atmospheres (group IIA, IIB, IIC).
The anti-fall ladders can be ladders with cages also known as “alla marinara” or ladders with integrated rail.
The ladder with cage or “alla marinara”, designed and built according to the provisions of art. 113 of Legislative Decree 09/04/2008 No. 81, paragraph 2 of which, is a fixed ladder capable of allowing the operator to climb into a roof.
Ladders with a height of more than 3.00 m fixed on vertical walls or frames or with an inclination of more than 75 degrees, must be equipped, starting from 2.50 m from the floor, with a solid protective metal cage with meshes or openings of such amplitude as to prevent the accidental fall of the person towards the outside.
The wall of the cage opposite the level of the rungs must not be more than 60 cm away from them. The rungs must be at least 15 cm away from the wall to which they are applied or to which the ladder is fixed.
The ladder with track complies with the EN 353-1: 2002 standard which deals with guided type fall arrest devices including a rigid anchor line. It has an integrated fall arrest system. One of the uprights houses a track on which a special trolley runs with a locking device in the event of a fall. Entirely made of aluminum, it is used for vertical applications and is permanently fixed to the building structure.
The ladder is certified for use by two operators simultaneously with a distance between the two people of 3.00 m equipped with a special trolley. The sliding carriage with locking device is equipped with special bearings that slide on the guide integrated in the upright. The shuttle is equipped with an energy absorber according to EN 355: 20013 to be connected to the sternal attachment of the harness.
The walkways constitute a collective protection system , and also all comply with the EN ISO 14122-2: 2010 standard.
The entire range is made of aluminum and the components are assembled using stainless steel screws.
They can be adapted to any work area in which a safe transit must be achieved; the lightness and ductility of the system allow for quick and practical installations.
The walkways can be equipped with side railings and stairs thus creating a complete collective protection system.
Among the most interesting and particular solutions we propose there are overpass bridges which are composed of the union of sections of stairs and sections of walkway , which are normally used for climbing over plants, pipes, changes of heights or exceeding areas where particular risks are present.
Each overpass is designed by our technical office and built ad hoc according to the needs and made entirely of die-cast aluminum alloy .
